Accounts Executive

Job Description

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

• Maintain a few full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheets
• Ensure accurate posting of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions
• Monitor outlet-level financial performance and cost controls
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments in a timely manner
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit purposes

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• GST submission, IRAS filings, and statutory reporting
• Prepare audit schedules and support year-end audits
• Liaise with corporate secretaries on ACRA-related matters
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and internal controls

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises
• Track variances between budget and actual results and provide explanations
• Support cash flow monitoring and planning

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore)
• Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and filing systems
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Able to handle full sets of accounts
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
