About the Role

The role reports to the Finance Manager. As an Accounts Executive, you are responsible for both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely processing of daily and monthly accounting matters. The role often requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, and a good understanding of financial processes and regulations.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Conduct verification checks for new customers.
• Issue invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Perform month-end closing for AR and AP; support financial reporting.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and monitor incoming collections.
• Maintain organised records and ensure proper archival of financial related documents.
• Identify and implement improvements to AP/AR processes for greater efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including GST filings.
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (LCCI/ACCA/CPA).

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in AR and/or AP function

• Knowledge in Sage 200/300 and Xero accounting software will be advantageous

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills

• Proficiency in MS Office like Words and Excel

• Good communication and writing skills in English

• Process good personality attitude with great interpersonal skills

• Able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
