Job Description

  • Responsible for full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing
  • Handle AP functions - manage payment processing of suppliers, 3rd party and inter-company invoices/billings
  • Handle AR functions - billings, issue statement of accounts and credit notes, maintain project contracts
  • Prepare month end journals, input journal entries into QuickBooks
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to general ledger
  • Prepare and file GST returns
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Prepare financial management reports
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
  • Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
  • Work closely with other functional teams to resolve any financial and accounting issues that impact the set of books
  • Other ad-hoc duties required

Job Requirement

  • Degree in Accountancy or relevant such as ACCA
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing full set of accounts, general ledger and book-keeping
  • Hands on experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Mature, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft skills, especially Excel
