Job Summary

The Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the daily accounting and finance operations of the company, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions, reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries with precision and within deadlines
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and monitor cash flow transactions
• Prepare monthly financial schedules and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support GST submissions and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements
• Maintain organized accounting records and filing systems to facilitate audit and reporting needs
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, customers, auditors, and external stakeholders on finance-related matters
• Assist in tracking budgets, monitoring expenses, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making
• Support audit exercises by providing required documentation and ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards
• Execute additional finance and administrative duties as assigned to support operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and responsibility
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry
• Familiarity with ERP systems and GST reporting
