Working days: Mon - Thurs 9am to 6.30pm, Fri 9am – 6pm
(Can choose to start work earlier, end time adjusted accordingly)
Salary: $3000 - $4500
Location: Kim Seng Promenade (Nearest MRT: Great World)
Responsibilities
- Check and journalize monthly crew transactions and ship statements.
- Review charterer and agents’ voyage disbursement accounts; detail line items and account codes, and resolve discrepancies.
- Issue and send invoices and credit notes to customers.
- Reconcile inter-company balances and manage monthly inter-company billing, journals, and settlements.
- Assist in monthly and year end closing.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and crew manning agents.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within the shipping industry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central accounting software is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
