We are a public listed company having manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and sales office in Singapore. We are now seeking energetic and driven individuals to join our operations.

Job Summary

Support the finance team by executing essential accounting functions, assisting in financial reporting and audits, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and cash flow management
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including issuance of cheques and online banking transactions, to maintain vendor and customer account accuracy
  • Assist Senior Accounts Executive in monthly and yearly account closing activities to support timely financial reporting
  • Prepare and contribute to financial reports for the CFO and Management, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with external and internal auditors to facilitate audit processes and provide required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to resolve accounting inquiries and maintain strong business relationships
  • Assist in preparing and filing GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to support integrated financial operations and information flow

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma graduate or professional equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounts department
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage300, MYOB, UBS, or Quickbook to enhance accounting efficiency
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel to analyze and manage financial data
  • Demonstrated interest in accounting with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Positive attitude and ability to maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration and information exchange
