Our client is a Singapore-based professional services firm that primarily provides outsourced accounting and business support services. They are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate / Senior Associate to manage full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients. This role offers exposure to a wide range of accounting, payroll, and compliance functions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions
• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR and general ledger
• Process payroll and handle quarterly GST submissions
• Review and process client expenses in accordance with company policies
• Prepare account reconciliations, schedules, and management reports (including cash flow)
• Perform month-end closing and ensure timely financial reporting
• Prepare unaudited financial statements in compliance with SFRS
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies (e.g. ACRA, IRAS)
• Support ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in accounting, audit, or tax firms is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of Singapore compliance requirements (ACRA, IRAS, CPF)
• Familiar with cloud accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, JustLogin)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
