Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant to support the Company's finance and accounting operations. The role is responsible for full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, audit coordination, and cash flow management. The successful candidate will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, strengthen internal controls, and support finance-related projects to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full-set accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to facilitate business planning and decision-making.
  • Perform quarterly GST preparation and submission and liaise with tax agents on corporate tax matters.
  • Assist with external and internal audit processes, including the preparation of supporting schedules and audit documentation.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables, billing matters, and collection activities.
  • Monitor and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Support process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and finance-related projects.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, corporate secretaries, and other external stakeholders as required.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • ACCA qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with Singapore GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience handling accounting and compliance matters for Singapore entities.
  • Experience in project accounting or a project-based business environment will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems; experience with Sage ACCPAC is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
