Our client is a leading consumer goods company with a strong market presence and a commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. They are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations for Singapore entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable/payable, and fixed assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings in compliance with Group and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow reports, ensuring effective cash management and forecasting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Coordinate and support annual audit activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity in reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience and 1-2 years of experience in audit firms, preferably with exposure to the consumer goods or FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in SAP accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
