The Accountant will support the Company's finance operations and help establish an efficient accounting system, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and implementation of the accounting system

• Support the execution of finance process workflows, policies, and SOP

• Record and post financial transactions, including AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger entries

• Handle the preparation of full sets of accounts, including posting journal entries, preparing P&L and balance sheet schedules

• Prepare bank reconciliation

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, fixed asset registers, invoices, and payroll records

• Update daily bank balances to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Process payments in an accurate and timely manner, including staff claim

• Support financial audits, corporate tax and GST preparation

• Generate invoices and ensure proper recording in the accounting system

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentations for audit and ensure compliance and alignment of accounting policies and procedures with the government regulations

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero

• Experience in setting up accounting system and COA

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in full set of accounts

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or ACCA

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
