Job Summary

Support financial operations by preparing monthly closes, management accounts, and financial statements compliant with SFRS/IFRS. Collaborate with auditors and business units to ensure accurate reporting, internal controls, and timely audit completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial close and management accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist in preparing financial statements compliant with SFRS/IFRS standards for regulatory adherence
• Liaise with external auditors and reporting accountants to facilitate audit fieldwork and resolve queries promptly
• Prepare audit schedules and follow up on audit queries to support timely audit completion
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SPOs), internal controls, and reporting templates to enhance financial processes
• Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation aligned with accounting standards
• Conduct ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by management to support decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit
• Basic knowledge of SFRS and financial reporting standards
• Prior exposure to audit or multi-entity environments preferred
• Proficient in Excel with the ability to manage detailed financial schedules
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
