The hybrid APAC Enterprise Client Lead / Account Director role at Acceleration Partners is a unique opportunity for an experienced, strategic leader who is passionate about growing global enterprise brands and delivering innovative, regionally nuanced strategies across APAC.
This role is centered on owning and growing large enterprise client relationships in the APAC region. Success in this role is not about simply meeting expectations, but consistently exceeding them—acting as a trusted strategic partner to the client while driving meaningful growth for both the client and Acceleration Partners.
This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, bring strong executive presence, and feel energized by solving ambiguous problems across markets, cultures, and teams.
Role Overview
The Director, APAC Enterprise Client Lead will serve as the primary strategic owner and relationship lead for a high-value enterprise client(s) operating across APAC markets. This role is accountable for client retention, revenue growth, regional expansion, and strategic excellence across all APAC programs for the client(s) you’re supporting.
In addition to delivering exceptional outcomes, this person will identify and close expansion opportunities within the client relationship (new markets, services, or scope increases) and will act as a subject matter expert in enterprise growth, supporting new business pitches as needed where APAC market expertise is needed.
The role works closely with Program Directors and senior delivery leaders to oversee large, cross-market account teams and ensure work is delivered at the highest standard and aligned with enterprise client goals.
Top 5 Job Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Client Leadership & Engagement
Serves as the primary executive relationship owner for large enterprise client(s) across APAC. Builds deep trust and partnership by demonstrating a strong understanding of the client’s business, organizational structure, and regional priorities. Develops relationships beyond day-to-day contacts, including senior marketing leadership and C-suite stakeholders (CMO, VP of Marketing, regional leads, etc.).
Leads all high-stakes client conversations, including escalations, risk management, performance discussions, and long-term planning. Anticipates challenges and opportunities proactively and owns client-facing communication with confidence and clarity. Builds strong rapport through a mix of virtual and in-person engagement across the region.
2. Strategic Thinking & Regional Execution
Develops forward-looking, enterprise-grade strategies that align APAC market execution with global client objectives. Ensures high-potential opportunities across markets are identified, pitched, and optimized with client buy-in.
Partners closely with Program Directors and regional teams to drive innovative strategies, efficiencies, and performance improvements. Uses data fluently to identify risks and opportunities, guide decision-making, and influence client strategy. Encourages a growth mindset and calculated risk-taking when it serves the long-term health of the account.
Oversees and delivers high-quality client outputs including QBRs, annual and regional strategy plans, executive readouts, and performance reporting.
3. AP Revenue Accountability & Expansion
Holds strong accountability for meeting and exceeding revenue targets tied to the enterprise client(s) supported. Identifies and leads scope expansion opportunities (new markets, services, or general scope increase) and owns the development, pitching, and closing of those opportunities.
Maintains a strong financial lens across the account, ensuring KPIs, goals, renewals, and expansion targets are actively monitored and achieved. Demonstrates deep understanding of Acceleration Partners’ service offerings and articulates clearly how expanded engagement supports the client’s business goals.
Acts as a subject matter expert in enterprise sales conversations and supports new business efforts where relevant for the APAC market.
4. Lead, Coach & Influence Without Direct Authority
While not a direct people manager, this role leads through influence and partnership. Coaches and guides Account Managers and regional teams in partnership with Program Director to deliver strong results and respond effectively to client needs and feedback.
Works closely with Program Directors to ensure consistent performance, high-quality delivery, and strong collaboration across markets. Supports workforce planning by partnering with leadership to identify senior talent needs for the account and supports interviewing where needed. Demonstrates comfort operating within mixed-accountability environments and driving results without direct line management.
5. Develop Market Excellence Across APAC
Plays a key role in shaping APAC enterprise delivery excellence at Acceleration Partners. Ensures teams supporting the enterprise client are building deep regional and market expertise and applying best practices consistently.
Partners with sales, marketing, and talent teams to support growth in the APAC region. Represents Acceleration Partners with enterprise clients, platforms, networks, and strategic partners across APAC and contributes to strengthening AP’s regional reputation.

- Fully owning the strategic direction and outcomes of the enterprise client’s APAC programs
- Established strong relationships with key client stakeholders and internal delivery leaders
- Effectively influencing teams to deliver results without micromanaging
- APAC client revenue and expansion plans clearly defined and in motion
By 1 Year:
- Meeting or exceeding enterprise client expansion targets
- Achieving revenue retention for the client, and hitting growth targets
- Recognized by the client as a trusted strategic partner
- Client satisfaction scores remain consistently at 8+
- APAC enterprise engagement demonstrates strong growth, performance, and delivery excellence
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing, with APAC market exposure
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing (agency or in-house experience preferred)
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level revenue targets
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate insights into strategy
- Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms (e.g., Impact, Awin, etc.)
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills
- Experience in an agency or client services environment strongly preferred
- Track record of expanding client scope and increasing client spend
- Ability to travel up to 25% across APAC
- Fluency in English required; additional APAC languages a plus
