Job Responsibilities
Perform general office tasks, including answering phone calls, replying to emails, processing mail, and filing documents.
Maintain and update databases to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
Record information, process documentation, and organize filing systems.
Prepare checks, deposits, budgets, and financial reports.
Update ledgers, conduct research, and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and accounting principles.
Respond appropriately to vendor, client, and internal requests.
Support the Accounting Department to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Requirements for Accounting Clerk
Diploma required; higher education or relevant experience is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting procedures and principles.
Strong ethical standards when handling sensitive financial information.
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Courteous, professional manner with strong customer service orientation.
Computer literate with strong typing skills; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
Willingness to comply with all company financial regulations.
