Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
· Seated within Operations team
· Coordinate the end-to-end execution of dry bulk and specialized ores trade contracts, ensuring timely and accurate shipment fulfillment.
· Liaise with traders, chartering, logistics providers, vessel owners, terminals, surveyors, inspection companies, and customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
· Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, loading and discharge operations, and resolve operational issues to minimize delays and demurrage exposure.
· Prepare, review, and verify shipping and trade documentation, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Certificates of Quality and Weight, Mate's Receipts, commercial invoices, packing lists, and cargo documentation.
· Coordinatecargo inspections, sampling, quality analysis, and weighbridge activities within dependent surveyors and inspection agencies.
· Ensure compliance with contractual terms, Incoterms, letters of credit (LCs), shipping instructions, and documentary requirements.
· Monitor laytime calculations, demurrage and dispatch performance, and support the preparation and reconciliation of claims.
· Track shipment status and provide timely operational updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
· Work closely with finance and trade support teams to facilitate invoicing, provisional and final pricing, payment documentation, and trade settlement.
· Maintain accurate operational records and update ERP and commodity trading systems with shipment milestones and documentation.
· Support inventory reconciliation, stock reporting, and cargo movement tracking across warehouses, ports, and terminals.
· Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost control, and customer service.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, trade regulations, health, safety, environmental (HSE), and corporate governance requirements.
· Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned
Job Requirements
· Minimum Degree in a related discipline
· Minimum 4year of relevant experience
· Able to start immediately or within short notice
