Job Description
Role Purpose (MCF Summary)
The Intelligent Process Automation Specialist is responsible for leading and delivering automation and AI-enabled initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen control environments, and enhance ease of doing business within Private Banking. The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring automation solutions are delivered in line with governance, risk, and regulatory standards.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (MCF-Aligned)
Business & Delivery Accountability
Lead end-to-end Intelligent Process Automation initiatives, including RPA, workflow, chatbot, AI, and cognitive automation solutions.
Identify, shape, and prioritise automation opportunities aligned with business strategy and operational excellence objectives.
Own the automation pipeline, translating business use cases into clear, structured requirements and supporting solution design and delivery.
Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and deliver measurable efficiency and control benefits.
Governance, Risk & Control
Ensure all automation initiatives comply with internal governance standards, control frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, dependencies, and issues in a timely and transparent manner.
Support operational oversight of live automations, including incident management, issue resolution, and user communications.
Contribute to strong documentation standards (as-is / to-be processes, requirements, controls, and audit trail).
Stakeholder & Change Management
Act as the primary business representative and liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Manage senior and working-level stakeholders across functions, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and outcomes.
Coordinate UAT, business readiness, and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption and transition to production.
Provide structured updates, reports, and presentations to management and governance forums.
Leadership & Culture
Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible use of AI and automation technologies.
Act as a collaborative team player, contributing to cross-functional alignment and shared outcomes.
Regulatory Responsibilities & Conduct Expectations

Prioritisation and shaping of automation use cases within agreed governance frameworks
Escalation of risks, issues, and control concerns to appropriate forums
Recommendations on solution design, delivery approach, and adoption strategy
